With 13 years of experience in the field of graphic design I can offer expertise in branding, corporate identity and graphic design in general. I am task oriented, enjoy solving practical problems and a utilizer of direct communication. Detail oriented and organized with the ability to work on a variety of projects independently or within a team structure. I do very well in collaborative environments where ideas can be pooled and then grown collectively. I also work well independently, welcoming direction as an opportunity to improve my craft. With experience in both small studios and corporate creative departments, I understand the limitations and assets of each environment and how to work effectively in either situation.

Primary Responsibilities:
Designed, created and produced various government reports and publications, to be used by Minnesota legislature, non profit agencies, and health professionals. Designed brand identities, newsletters, calendars, manuals, presentations, posters, flyers, web sites, and other marketing and educational pieces. Regularly analyzed emerging technology and trends and naked recommendations for enhancing and improving web-based communication and graphic design capabilities and capacity based on business needs. Provided computer technical assistance and training to other Center for Health Promotion staff. Worked independently to design, manage and administer all technical aspects of the Center for Health Promotion web sites. Acted as a liaison between the unit, section, division and the agency regarding web site systems structure, technology and standards.

Snyder’s Drug Stores

Primary Responsibilities:
Created weekly newspaper ads, circulars, coupon books, and direct mail pieces. Designed both promotional and directional in-store signage for Snyder’s retail stores. Edited all photography including color correction, air brushing and clipping paths.

Created digital cartography and illustrations for cultural resource impact statement reports to be reviewed by various state historic preservation offices nationwide. Designed logos, brochures, and in-house marketing pieces.
